Platoon BB, official page
Welcome to da jungle man
The Platoon is the strongest airsoft group in West Aros. We only do military scenarios, and we have some of the best terrain in the world to play in!
There are hundreds of old abandoned bunkers and trenches scatterd around the woods, and we use them as much as we can. Right now we have 7 veteran members and 7 "newbies".
The 3 originators of the group are Zacke, Martin and Zter. We all have at least 50 hours of bush time behind us, and we want more!

THE BOYS

Zacke "Jihad"

Was mistaken for a muslim extremist, hence the alias. Uses a Glock 17 and an M16a2.
Likes to hide and then snipe people when they are in spitting range. Likes to wear a green hat wich makes him look like a dumb yokel. He thinks it looks nice though...

Martin

Hides a lot, and is VERY good at it. Sometimes you need to walk on top of him to find the bastard!
Carries a Smith-Wesson and a Spas12.

Zter "Mosquito"

A crazy fool. Acts just like the "mosquito-guy" in that film... He wears a strange hat with a mosquito net over the face...He looks like a beekeeper with a gun. Very strange...
Uses an SG 550.

Robert

Big and clumbsy. Wears old army clothes from the sixties.(with the marks for "in the rear with the gear" on them) Over his face he wears a blue ski-mask, wich really stands out from the green woods we play in. He says it keeps the mosquitos at bay.

Nicklas

Newest honour member of the Platoon.
Fights with an H&K sg1.
He has the nasty habit of running for the hills as soon as he sees an enemy.
Of course he will probably ecape in the dense woods but his partner will say: Well isnt that just dandy..!

The guns
The whole platoon is planning to get some new electric automatic weapons. I am going to invest in a SPAS 12 though, (and be an outsider) S.g.t. Martin J wants to get an M-16 A2 and s.g.t. Zter has a crush on the SG-550. S.g.t. Martin J and I just recently bought some new backup pistols. I got a Glock 17 and the sarg chose a Smith & Wesson.

I heard some talk about the M-16A2 often jamming, and having problems with the feeding system. This all has to do with its field stripping ability.

How we fight
My personal style of fighting is a kind of guerilla/partisan style, where hiding and moving silently is important. The same goes for most of the others in the platoon as well, although I like to like to charge the enemy guns shouting like a madman some times to! We train 2 on 2 mostly, as it is difficult to get more people together just to practice. Then we usually play "find em an kill em" missions or sometimes "defend the bunker", both missions work well for training and are really fun!
